Dr. Khawaja Azimuddin is one of the few board certified Colon & Rectal surgeons practicing in North Houston. "Dr. Azi", as he is known by his patients, is board certified in the field of colon and rectal & general surgery. He has performed thousands of colon & rectal and general surgical operations and offers more than 15 years of surgical experience and training.

Dr. Azimuddin received his general surgery training at the New York Medical College and went on to do his fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the Penn State University and Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He has lectured and published extensively and is an editorial reviewer for the Diseases of Colon & Rectum (DCR), the official journal of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
He is a member of numerous surgical societies including the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

Dr. Azimuddin is an active member of the community. He believes in "Service Above Self" and is a member of the Rotary International. He has been named a Paul Harris Fellow and has received the "Distinguished Service Award" (two of the highest awards conferred by Rotary International).

Despite his busy schedule Dr. Azimuddin loves to spend time with his wife Sama and children Anam and Ahad.
